About the Opportunity:
We are currently seeking to identify talented HVAC Commissioning personnel to join us to support delivery of our major projects in the south of England and the North of Scotland. The immediate requirement is for a HVAC Commissioning Team Leader.
Candidates must either be already SC cleared or be able to secure SC clearance.
Responsibilities:
1. The HVAC Commissioning Team Leader will support the project commissioning manager in delivery of major projects through the HVAC construction phase and the commissioning preparation and execution phases;
2. Ensure Safety is the highest priority on the project with a continued strive towards Zero Harm. He ensures that he is a role model for all aspects of safety, ensuring a proactive approach to nuclear, radiological, conventional and environmental safety;
3. Ensure all commissioning arrangements conform to Site License conditions through IPC and ISC;
4. Manage execution of the arrangements for controlling, witnessing, recording and assessing the results of commissioning tests for both IPC and ISC ensuring that all commissioning activities are recorded and managed via the project completions management system;
5. Provide support to the project Commissioning Manager in planning, coordinating and directing the System Commissioning activities;
6. Lead a team of commissioning personnel;
7. Write and produce test plans and commissioning test documents and technical documents communicating System Commissioning and Asset Management plans, guidance and instructions;
8. Assist in developing the System Commissioning Plan and methodologies; provide review and coordination of Contractor submittals ensuring that input to other project processes are incorporated, for example, design, HAZOP, risk, contract, estimating and knowledge management;
9. Ensure all commissioning resource meets the project SQEP requirements.
This position will develop plans and manage tasks within the System Commissioning scope of work, which will be further detailed in the Plant test schedule, system Commissioning Plan and the System Acceptance Plan.
Here's What You'll Need:
10. 15 years commissioning experience in a similar managerial role for either the nuclear industry or another highly regulated industry;
11. Experience with completions management systems;
12. Preferred HNC/HND in Engineering related subject;
13. Project management knowledge, preferably APM member with excellent technical writing skills
