Hours: 11:15 AM – 2:15 PM (Monday – Friday, Term Time Only - 38 weeks per year)
Salary: £12 per hour

Line Management
* Reports to: PA to the Principal and Office Manager
* Other tasks may be directed by: The Principal or the Leadership Team
Job Purpose
To ensure the safety, welfare, and good conduct of students during the midday break while also providing administrative support, including reprographics and reception cover when required.
Key Responsibilities
Midday Supervision
* Supervise students during lunch, ensuring a safe and positive environment.
* Patrol designated areas to monitor student behaviour and wellbeing.
* Regularly check and monitor toilets to ensure cleanliness, appropriate use, and report any concerns.
* Maintain cleanliness in student areas, including dining spaces and corridors.
* Report any concerns regarding student behaviour or safeguarding to relevant staff.
Administrative & Reprographics Support
* Assist with photocopying, printing, and document preparation for staff.
* Ensure reprographics equipment is maintained and report any issues.
* Manage stock levels of reprographics supplies.
Reception Cover
* Provide front desk support, greeting visitors and answering queries.
* Handle telephone calls professionally and direct them accordingly.
* Assist with signing in visitors and following safeguarding procedures.
Other Duties
* Undertake additional administrative or operational tasks as directed by the Principal or the Leadership Team.
General Responsibilities
* Work as part of a team to support students and staff effectively.
* Maintain confidentiality and follow safeguarding protocols.
* Attend training and development sessions as required.
* Carry out any other reasonable duties as directed by the PA to the Principal and Office Manager.
Person Specification
Essential:
* Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
* Ability to have a warm strict and assertive approach with students.
* Strong communication skills and professional manner.
* Good organisational skills and ability to multitask.
* Basic IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office.
Desirable:
* Experience working in a school environment.
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
