Followingthe Michael Richards report, in which it was highlighted thatdiagnostic services should be delivered taking a new approach toprovide more accessibility to people in the community away fromacute settings, we at InHealth are excited to be partnering withthe NHS to develop new Community Diagnostic Centres to support thisvison.
Following this we are delighted to be a newCommunity Diagnostic Centre inRedruth in Autumn2024, and are actively recruiting now to build apassionate and dedicated team to, ready to support this nationwideprogramme to enhance the availability of healthcare in thecommunity, while enhancing your own career.
Right now weare looking to recruit a ClinicalAssistant into the team, to workalongside the Radiography Department in MRI, CT andXray.

What will youdo:
As a clinical assistant, supporting theRadiography department, the core of your role is to ensure ourpatients receive the best standard of care from arrival through todeparture. The Clinical Assistant is primarily responsible forensuring the smooth running of the working day by welcomingpatients into the clinical area and preparing them for their scan.You will also be required to complete some administrative taskswithin the department and also support in Reception asneeded.
* Welcoming patients in a professional,courteous manner, coordinating their arrival through todeparture
* Escorting patients to and from theclinical area as required, explaining the procedure in full andensuring any questions or concerns are managedprofessionally
* Completing the patient'spre-scan data protection/consent form and health and safetyquestionnaire (where applicable)
* Assessing andmonitoring the patient's condition after procedure, ensuring thatany changes are reported to the relevant staffimmediately
* Accurately entering all relevantpatient data into the patient managementsystem
* Managing administrative tasks within thedepartment as required.
* Working on thereception desk, professionally welcoming patients into theCentre
We are lookingfor someone who has
* Experiencein a healthcare environment or a passion to work inhealthcare
* Experience working in a customerfacing role
* Strong administrationskills
* Flexibility to workingpatterns
