Job Title: Transactional Finance Manager Location: Near Bracknell Salary: £225 - 250.00 per day Job Type: Temporary 3 months initially On site 5 days a week About the Company: A growing SME are looking for a Transactional Finance Manager to oversee and optimise their day-to-day financial operations, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions. Job Overview: As a Transactional Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the transactional finance function, overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, and cash flow management. You will play a key role in ensuring strong financial controls and supporting the wider finance team in driving operational efficiency and process improvements. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the end-to-end transactional finance function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management. Manage and develop the finance team, ensuring efficient processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations. Maintain strong financial controls, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Monitor cash flow and prepare accurate cash flow forecasts. Reconcile bank statements and key balance sheet accounts. Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Work closely with internal stakeholders to improve financial processes and efficiency. Assist in system improvements and automation to enhance transactional finance operations. Ensure timely payment runs, supplier reconciliations, and resolution of discrepancies. Liaise with auditors and external stakeholders as required. Key Requirements: Proven experience in a similar transactional finance role, preferably within an SME environment. Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management. Excellent knowledge of financial controls and processes. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to manage and mentor a team effectively. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Relevant finance qualification (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA) preferred but not essential.
