About the role
The role reports to the Head of Central Reporting and locally to the UK and IE head of transversal.
As part of the Performance Management team within our Operations Performance & Productivity division, and reporting to the Regional Lead Performance Europe 2, the Data Analyst - Business Intelligence is responsible for providing accurate visibility of Operations performance to business owners. This includes monitoring Activity, Quality, and Productivity indicators across all Lines of Business in the British & Irish Bus.
The primary duty is to transform data into insights that help improve business value. The analyst's role is crucial for the success of the business, as data-driven insights help identify revenue loss and areas for improvement to boost profits.
The analyst will enable stakeholders to make better, quicker decisions to ultimately improve operational performance and employee engagement.
What you will do
1. Identify, collect, and analyze KPI and dashboard needs from business stakeholders, including call center leaders, management, and headquarters.
2. Develop a framework to systematically collect, store, and transform raw data into KPIs displayed on comprehensive dashboards at various frequencies and levels of detail.
3. Monitor performance trends and proactively deliver alerts and insights to decision-makers.
4. Work closely with headquarters to ensure successful local implementation of the Power BI-based global BI tool.
5. Support in preparing performance review presentations and provide ad-hoc KPI analysis upon request.
6. Document and update/improve BI operating procedures based on evolving processes and feedback.
7. Share best practices within the team and undertake any additional tasks as required.
What you will need
Qualifications and experience:
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Finance, or related field.
* 3-5 years’ experience in data analysis/science/engineering in a performance-driven organization.
* Experience with ETL tools like Pentaho, SSIS, and reporting tools such as SSRS, Report Builder.
* Experience with BI tools like Power BI, MicroStrategy, Tableau.
* Knowledge of Data Management, Big Data, WFM, CRM, and Telephony systems is advantageous.
* Ability to multitask effectively, learn quickly, work under pressure, and collaborate well in a team.
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
