As a Full Stack Engineer at AA-X, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of solutions within your area. You will provide technical expertise within the AA-X Ventures engineering team, with a strong understanding of microservice architecture, serverless cloud technology, and front-end technologies, particularly React and Next.js.
What will I be doing?
* Collaborate with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements and drive the design and development of high-quality technical solutions.
* Deliver functionality that meets defined requirements within committed timescales, including the definition, maintenance, and execution of unit test cases.
* Provide Level 3 Application Support, troubleshooting, and resolving issues, including out-of-hours support when necessary.
* Ensure delivered solutions comply with organisational architectural and coding standards and conduct code reviews.
* Act as a role model for junior development team members, providing technical leadership and support.
* Contribute to Continuous Integration in an Agile environment, including component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, and product evaluation.
What do I need?
* Experienced Full Stack Engineer with a clear blend of both front and back-end development across web applications, familiarity with the Atlassian toolset (Git, Jira, etc.), environment configuration, and CI/CD challenges.
* In-depth understanding of the full Software Delivery Lifecycle (Agile model) and experience in developing and deploying solutions in complex environments.
* Demonstrable experience in the timely delivery of medium-large scale development programs/projects, with strong technical and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of Agile, TDD, and coding standards, with the ability to provide technical leadership and role model examples to junior team members.
* Diligent, data-driven, and committed to continual assessment and improvement, with a strong technical aptitude and the ability to apply knowledge to new technologies. Pragmatic and adaptable to the needs of the business, comfortable with objectively challenging peers and superiors to ensure adherence to quality standards.
