This market leading, vibrant organisation based in Birmingham is looking for a Junior Credit Controller to join their team. You will be joining business that has created a great working culture and this position has arisen due to company growth. This role will be 3-4 office based, and the offices are based in central Birmingham.
A great role for someone looking to start a career within Credit Control.\n\nJunior Credit Controller - About The Role\n\nIn this role you will be working within a Credit Control team of 2 and will be reporting into the Finance Manager. You will be supporting the wider finance team as well as other departments.\n\nYour key responsibilities will be:\n\nChasing overdue debts by phone, email and letters\nEnsuring any outstanding queries are flagged accordingly\nDaily review of aged debt and maintaining current DSO days\nManaging your own set of accounts and building rapport with key individuals\nOpening new accounts and performing full credit checks\nPosting receipts to ledgers\nMaintaining accurate and up to date customer information\nSupporting with the overall efficiency of the Credit Control functionThe successful Junior Credit Controller will have:\n\nA strong desire to work in a Credit Control position\n\nPrevious experience working within an office\nAbility to communicate at all levels\nCar driver due to locationAt Gleeson Recruitment Group, we embrace inclusivity and welcome applicants of all backgrounds, experiences, and abilities.
