Key Objectives/Deliverables
Responsible for managing elements of our Logistics Partner – Overseeing Nokia HW into the Genesis Logistics Partner Warehouse.
Responsibilities
1. Work to a high standard of accuracy, efficiency and organisation.
2. The maintenance and update of project databases/trackers.
3. Be able to prioritise workload and communicate any issues identified.
4. To maintain professional development to meet the changing demands of the job, participate in appropriate training activities.
5. To undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job.
6. Carry out all work in accordance with the Company’s Quality Procedures.
7. Work safely at all times in accordance with the Company’s Health and Safety Arrangements.
8. Running and reviewing Stock Reports & report any deficiencies.
9. Raising & distributing to the Logistics Partner site specific Hardware picks.
10. Identifying and resolving logistical issues.
11. Liaising with Genesis Logistics Partner.
12. Raising and tracking Logistics purchase orders.
13. Tracking proposed and planned delivery dates to ensure site deliveries.
Person Specifications
Essential
1. Previous experience in a Transport or Logistics role preferred.
2. Must have excellent planning and organisational skills and be able to work with both autonomy and as part of a team.
3. Be able to develop and sustain relationships with individuals at all levels in an organisation (both internal and external).
4. Analytical, pragmatic & proactive.
5. Excel & Databases.
6. Strong Excel Skills.
Desirable
1. Understanding of IT & Telecoms networks / systems.
2. Strong background in scheduling and planning desirable but not essential.
