Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment
Plan effectively to meet the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs including working with teaching assistants
In liaison with the SENDCO, implement, monitor and review effective provision
Take appropriate account of ethnic and cultural diversity to enrich the curriculum, secure pupils’ engagement and raise achievement
Fulfil wider professional responsibilities to make a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of the school
Organise and maintain a stimulating and purposeful working environment
To work within the framework of national legislation and in accordance with the provisions of the School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document. In addition, the post is subject to compliance with:

Support the Christian Ethos of the school
Attend and lead collective worship as required
Supervise playtimes on a rota basis
Participate in and lead staff meetings, INSET activities and parent curriculum events
Undertake other such duties as can be reasonably expected
