Assistant Accountant Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the major duties, tasks, and responsibilities that make up the job role of Assistant Accountant include the following:
1. Production of monthly Management Accounts
2. Experience of invoice discounting
3. Maintain cashbook reconciliation
4. Prepare for your end audit
5. Ideally part qualified
6. Weekly and monthly financial reports for the Directors and maintaining accurate financial records using Sage Line 50
7. Preparation, checking and submission of VAT returns
8. Ensure timely payment of company liabilities
9. Manage staff credit cards
10. Have knowledge of Government Gateway platforms
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday
8am - 4:30pm
