Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (KS1)

About the Role
Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support children in Key Stage 1 at a welcoming and inclusive school in Stockport. This role is ideal for someone with experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and a passion for providing tailored support to help young learners thrive.
As an SEN TA, you will:
Work closely with KS1 students who require additional support, either one-to-one or in small groups
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
Support students with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, and communication difficulties
Implement individual learning and behaviour support plans
Help create a positive and nurturing learning environment
Who We're Looking For

Experience working with children with SEN, particularly in a school setting
A calm, patient, and supportive approach to working with young learners
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential
Eligibility Requirements
Right to Work in the UK
Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
Two professional references related to working with children
