Kent (Hybrid) – Software Development Manager – 65-75k (+ Bonus & Benefits)
This is a great opportunity for an experience Engineer to step into a management role or an experienced manager who has a good background working on high level embedded systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team of talented engineers in a dynamic and innovative environment, shaping software development processes and driving the evolution of cutting-edge products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and mentor a team of 10-15 software engineers across multiple development projects
* Follow and oversee Scrum methodologies.
* Oversee project delivery, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met while managing risks and resources
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including EN54, UL864, ISO27001, and CE standards
Skills & Experience Required:
* Strong leadership experience managing software development teams within an electronic/embedded systems environment
* Previous hands-on experience with software design and development in C/C++ etc. With a focus on embedded software ideally.
* Expertise in Scrum methodologies
Bonus Relevant Skills
* Familiarity with microcontroller architectures and communication protocols (SPI, I2C, TCP/IP, USB, RS232, etc.)
