McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a well-known Regional Accountancy Firm who are continuing to enjoy strong growth across London and the Thames Valley region. They are now seeking a Payroll Supervisor / Payroll Leader to join their growing team who will be responsible for 90+ multiple client payrolls consisting of UK Ltd companies, partnerships and sole traders. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, key duties include:
1. Processing payrolls for all third party client employees on a weekly, fortnightly and/or monthly basis
2. Calculating PAYE, NI, SSP, SMP, SPP and other payments as required on behalf of clients (eg student loans, travel loans, expense payments)
3. Reconciling client payrolls ensuring all payrolls processed are accurate and on time
4. Setting up new payroll & pension schemes for clients with HMRC, and supporting them through the first few payroll cycles
5. Responsible for CIS payroll schemes and salary sacrifice benefits
6. Dealing with all client, employee, pension provider and HMRC payroll queries
7. Ensuring clients are aware when PAYE & pension payments should be submitted to staff and HMRC
8. Maintaining accurate employee records and checking payroll updates and their input through the system
9. Ensuring all RTI submissions are processed accurately and on time
10. Ensuring all pay slips are processed and managing the submission of pay slip files
