Join our team as an SEO Content Editor!
We are looking for an SEO Content Editor to focus on optimizing and managing our content to improve organic search performance across multiple brands and cybersecurity products. This role involves editing and writing content while ensuring strong on-page SEO practices, including keyword research, meta tags, and content structure.
You will manage and take ownership of content projects from start to finish, briefing designers, working with translators, and collaborating with technical teams to ensure accuracy. A key part of the role will be handling content uploads in WordPress, ensuring SEO best practices are followed, and monitoring performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.
Additionally, the role requires supporting SEO experiments to improve rankings and conversions while working closely with the rest of the marketing team to create high-performing, search-optimized content. Experience in cybersecurity or B2B technology would be a plus.
Your main accountabilities and responsibilities will include:
* Write, edit, and refine various forms of optimized content to ensure clarity, engagement, and SEO effectiveness.
* Manage website content in multiple languages, including content uploads in the CMS (WordPress).
* Manage, prioritize, and execute a significant volume of inbound content change requests.
* Assist in implementing SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.
* Conduct keyword research to support content optimization efforts.
* Optimize website content, including meta tags, headers, and images, for better search performance.
* Help maintain page health by identifying and fixing issues such as broken links.
* Monitor and report on SEO performance related to content changes using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
* Support the execution of experiments to improve conversion rates and organic search performance.
* Ensure content meets SEO standards, including keyword placement and search intent alignment.
* Assist in optimizing and keeping website content up to date.
* Collaborate closely with graphic/UX designers and other content creators to develop compelling, immersive multimedia content.
* Contribute to content strategy development by researching new topics and identifying content marketing opportunities.
* Conduct research on target audiences, industry trends, and competitor messaging to support content creation.
What Would Make You Stand Out as Our Ideal Candidate?
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Digital Media, IT & Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Certifications in SEO, Content Marketing, or Digital Marketing – preferred but not required.
* 1+ years of experience in SEO, content/technical writing, or digital marketing.
* Proficiency in:
o Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
o Content Management Systems (WordPress ideally).
o Marketing analytics and SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, or others).
* Basic SEO knowledge and a passion for staying updated on digital marketing and SEO trends.
* Excellent English skills (additional languages are a plus).
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
* Experience or interest in cybersecurity, B2B SaaS tech, or agency environments.
* Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
* Experience working in an agile environment.
* Desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced setting.
