Daily Rate: £95 – £110
Overview
Our partner schools in Tameside are seeking experienced HLTAs who can deliver advanced classroom support. This role involves a mixture of leading parts of lessons, supporting whole-class activities, and providing focused interventions to meet the diverse needs of pupils. You will work closely with subject teachers to ensure that all students have access to high-quality educational support.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading Instruction: Take responsibility for delivering specific parts of lessons, including small group teaching and targeted intervention sessions.
* Lesson Collaboration: Work in partnership with classroom teachers to design and deliver lesson plans that meet the needs of all pupils.
* Assessment & Feedback: Monitor pupil progress, conduct informal assessments, and provide constructive feedback to both pupils and teachers.
* Resource Development: Assist in the creation and adaptation of learning resources to suit differentiated learning styles.
* Team Coordination: Act as a link between the teaching team and pupils, ensuring that behavioural and learning needs are communicated and met effectively.
Qualifications & Experience
* Substantial experience working in a secondary school setting as a teaching assistant or equivalent.
* A strong understanding of curriculum requirements and differentiated instruction.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
* Relevant certifications or training in educational support, inclusive education, or classroom management will be highly regarded.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
