This is an exciting role in a forward-thinking organisation and the Interim Cyber Ops Manager will be accountable for leading and growing a high performing team of Security Analysts delivering a critical Security / Cyber Engineering function.
This is a hands-on management role where you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving cybersecurity infrastructure and solutions. You will play a crucial role in protecting our clients networks, systems, and data from cyber threats by developing and delivering a robust cyber defence strategy.
This is a hybrid role and you must be prepared to work in Brighton at least one day per week.
Key Responsibilities include:
Hands on Leader of high performing team of Security Analysts, accountable for ongoing performance, responsiveness, workload management, vulnerability management etc.
Incident response and Threat intelligence / horizon scanning
Lead active interventions
Project board attendance as Senior Cyber SME
Continuous improvement, seeing through process improvements, delivering cyber improvement roadmap and improving 3d party SOC services.Essential Experience:
3+ years' experience leading and growing a cybersecurity team with hands-on expertise in security technologies, with a previous 10/15 years in IT roles.
Able to demonstrate accountability at Board level
Cyber certification (CISSP), plus other relevant qualifications such as CISM, (ISC)² ISSEP or SSCP, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate etc.
In-depth technical experience with Microsoft security and infrastructure services, including Defender, Sentinel, Azure Security Centre, and more.
Passion for cybersecurity and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
