Air Conditioning Service, Breakdown and Repair Engineer\nCompany based in Newcastle\nYearly salary of £35K-£40K\nCovering the North East\nAre you an experienced air conditioning service and repair engineer, who would like the opportunity to progress and develop your skills further within a rapidly growing business?\nMy client are a long-established company based in Newcastle specialising in the Installation, Service and Maintenance of a wide variety of air conditioning equipment.\nMy client is actively seeking a reliable, knowledgeable engineer to join their team and assist with our continued growth.\nResponsibilities\n * You will carry out maintenance including fault finding/ diagnosis and repairs on equipment including VRF’s, split type air conditioning and refrigeration plant.\n * Occasionally, you will carry out other aspects of air conditioning works on projects from installation to test and commissioning within agreed programmes.\n * You will be responsible of the distribution and safe keeping of materials on site. Ensuring that any defects/shortfalls are notified.\n * You will be required to provide technical advice occasionally to clients on site.\nRequirements (Essential)\n * The candidate must be C&G Level 2 Fgas and ODS Regulations: Cat 1 qualified.\n * A full UK valid driving license is essential.\n * The candidate must be an experienced air conditioning service, breakdown and repair engineer with a minimum of 6 years’ post qualification.\n * Must have strong fault-finding skills.\n * You must have good organisation skills to ensure deadlines are met, and be able to demonstrate self-motivation and initiative to get to the heart of a problem to take it through to completion.\n * Basic computer knowledge.\n * We primarily work in high-end residential properties, therefore tidiness and attention to detail are essential.\nRequirements (Desirable)\n * It is desirable for the candidate to have IPAF/PASMA however this is not essential as the correct training can be offered by the company to obtain these.\n * BMS systems knowledge is an advantage\n * It is essential for the candidate to have City and Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.\nRewards\n * Yearly salary of £35k-£40k per year excluding overtime\n * Overtime Available\n * Company Van\n * Company Phone\n * Training provided by my client\n * Uniform provided by my client\n * The successful candidate will be entitled to 20 days holiday plus bank holidays with the benefit of accumulating additional days annually after 2 years\nIf this sounds like you please send cv asap and George will call you for a discrete chat
