Capula is seeking an experienced Technical Automation Solutions Leader to support its Energy customers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in automation, software, hardware, or electrical engineering, with a proven track record in solution delivery or sales.
This role involves delivering automation solutions, leading bids, and liaising with business heads. Key responsibilities include:
* Providing technical support to Business Development Managers to develop automation architectures
* Ensuring compliance with internal bid governance and tendering processes
* Building relationships with technology providers to understand the latest technologies
* Conducting site surveys to identify scope and implementation philosophies
* Liaising with 3rd party suppliers and producing subcontract specifications
* Creating comprehensive proposal documents that showcase main selling messages and differentiators
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in the automation industry, with a good understanding of engineering processes. They should also have experience in tendering, procurement processes, and commercial acumen, as well as the ability to produce technically and commercially comprehensive proposal documents.
Candidates should be able to meet tight deadlines and have a basic knowledge of cyber security standards. Additionally, they should have experience working with major OEM providers and an understanding of the Energy generator and renewable sector and its associated standards.
