About the Role: As an Appeals Specialist, you will be the champion of exceptional customer service Your role will involve: Responding to customer appeals with empathy and clarity, ensuring they feel heard and valued. Managing appeals from start to finish, keeping customers informed and engaged throughout the process. Communicating decisions effectively, especially when liaising with the Executive Team, including the CEO. Conducting root cause analysis to identify trends and improve the customer experience. Building strong relationships across the organisation to ensure consistent and fair decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Handle case management of decision appeals, focusing on the best customer outcomes while adhering to regulations. Clearly communicate appeal decisions with a high level of professionalism. Collaborate with colleagues to understand the rationale behind decisions and enhance service quality. Identify areas of improvement and provide constructive feedback for future enhancements. Offer support to potentially vulnerable customers, handling complaints with care and expertise.What You Bring: We're looking for individuals who possess: Excellent communication and strong customer focus. Experience working in a target-driven environment. Strong literacy and analytical skills. Ability to meet demanding deadlines while maintaining professionalism.Desirable Skills: Previous experience with FOS or similar claims. Complaint resolution and claims handling experience, particularly in suitability of advice.Qualifications: FPC qualified or equivalent (desirable).
