Job overview
Due to internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Specialist Radiopharmacy Technician to join the Radiopharmacy team at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated team member with excellent operational and clinical qualities, effective communication skills, a flexible approach, and an ability to work under pressure.
The post will enable you to develop and utilise your specialist clinical skills within the speciality of Radiopharmacy in a new department which will be opening in 2025.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will be required to enable the delivery of a comprehensive, efficient, and high-quality clinical radiopharmacy service to the Trust and external customers. The role includes the manufacture and quality control of a range of radiopharmaceuticals while complying with relevant statutory requirements including those related to Good Manufacturing Practice.
The post-holder will participate in the effective operation of the Quality Management System developed and maintained by the Radiopharmacy, including management of documentation and use of the change control process. You must be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy.
Person specification
* Minimum of 2 years experience in radiopharmacy or aseptic facility
* Good knowledge of GMP
* Quality of supporting information
