A growing, friendly and collaborative law firm renowned for their expert advice is seeking to recruit a Personal Tax specialist into their very successful private client team. Your new role
As a member of the tax team, you will play a crucial role in assisting with tax compliance work for clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Preparation of personal, trust, and estate tax returns
* Drafting annual trust accounts
* Maintaining client records
* Calculating and organising tax payments
* CGT computations and 60-day returns
Additionally, you will work closely with colleagues within the tax team and within the wider private client team to deliver a high-quality cohesive service.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be either AAT or ATT qualified (or close to qualification) with previous accounting experience within an accountancy firm or in a personal tax role. A strong understanding of personal tax return production and submission will be vital.
Additionally, you must be able to demonstrate proficiency in IT systems, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent problem-solving skills and very professional communication skills.
