We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated, experienced and highly skilled LSP to join our strong Early Years department. The role will require a high level of experience of working with young children, within an EYFS setting, including those with complex additional needs. We are looking for a learning support practitioner who is:
* Passionate about Early Years
* Highly motivated, enthusiastic and wants to make a difference every day
* Patient, but firm with rules and boundaries
* Able to develop positive relationships with our children and their families
* Able to offer high quality support and do everything possible to develop children’s communication skills
* Able to work as a team and be flexible to meet the needs of the children and the school
* Able to work with outside agencies and act on advice given

Hanbury Primary School is committed to the welfare and safeguarding of all our children. All staff have a duty to safeguard our children and therefore we expect all staff to adhere to our Safeguarding Policy (available on the school website) and participate in annual safeguarding training. As part of the appointment procedure, all staff have to undergo a DBS disclosure which will report cautions as well as convictions.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is eligible for an enhanced DBS check including a Children's Barring List Check. If you are barred from working with children, you are breaking the law if you apply for this post. Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Term Time plus 5 training days.
Salary: Band D SCP 9-17 - £26,409 - £30,060 pro rata (actual salary £20,698-£23,662 per annum)
