As the Head of Retrofit & Development, you will oversee the quality and standards of services provided by the Energy Services Department while supporting the growth and development of new products and services. These include areas such as retrofit assessments, energy management, energy generation, and community energy projects. You will manage teams of Retrofit Coordinators, Assessors, and energy management and net zero consultants, ensuring they have the necessary training, qualifications, and systems to deliver top-quality service. Additionally, you will work to enhance Severn Wye's competitive edge by continuously improving automated systems, increasing efficiency, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and expanding the department into new energy sectors to promote sustainable growth.

We love what we do. Our colleagues enjoy a relaxed and supportive work environment and have knowledgeable, generous, and committed colleagues committed to making a difference. Our flexible working arrangements are designed to accommodate the work/life balance our people need depending on where they are in their lives and careers, which means we benefit from the experience and enthusiasm of employees of all ages and backgrounds.
We'll provide the training you need to help you grow. You'll start on 24 days, increase to 29 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, and have excellent support for the future, such as Group Life Assurance and a company pension scheme with employer contributions of 7% when you put in 5% or more. We get together regularly for social events and look after you outside work hours with employee discounts on various outlets, including discounted gift cards, cashback, and a bike-to-work scheme.
If this sounds like an environment in which you'd thrive, we'd love to hear from you.
