Role: Data Analyst
Location: Remote (1 day every two weeks on-site in Cheshire)
Rate: £400 - £600 p/d (flexible depending on experience)
Contract Length: 3 months initial (extension to 6 months highly likely)
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
About the Role:
We are looking for a talented Data Analyst to join a new project team and lead the development of an innovative enterprise search service. This project involves creating an AI-driven solution to enable quick and efficient access to critical documents, data, and information across billions of records and extensive multimedia content. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both data analysis and business analysis, with experience in information management and optimising data retrieval systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the definition of a cutting-edge enterprise search service to improve information accessibility for users across the organisation.
* Analyse existing data management processes and propose enhancements to optimise data retrieval and usability.
* Implement AI and machine learning techniques to navigate vast amounts of documents, data, and multimedia content, ensuring relevant and timely search results.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define requirements, aligning the solution with user needs and strategic goals.
* Conduct detailed data analysis to support decision-making and improve data quality and integrity.
* Work closely with the project lead to design a robust and scalable search system, ensuring unimpeded access to build an optimal solution.
* Iterate and improve the solution continuously based on feedback and changing requirements.
Key Requirements:
* Experience in Pharmaceutical, Finance, or Consulting Sectors: Ideally with a background in the pharmaceutical industry.
* Technical Expertise: Requirements gathering, data analysis and information management systems.
* Effective Communication and Stakeholder Management: Ability to engage with stakeholders, gather requirements, and deliver updates.
* Self-Driven and Results-Oriented: Ability to work independently, with direct access to decision-makers, to create a robust and scalable system.
