In autumn 2025 there will be a further bed expansion to the existing and only mother and baby unit in Yorkshire and Humber, which will allow for inpatient care to be provided for mothers and their infants closer to their home. As part of this exciting expansion of our Mother and Baby Unit at The Mount in Leeds, we are looking for compassionate, dedicated, and skilled professionals to join our dynamic team. Main duties of the job As Staff Nurse you will deliver high-quality physical and emotional care as part of the multi-disciplinary team to mothers and infants, undertaking assessments of care which lead to the development of detailed and effective nursing and infant care plans. As the primary nurse you will act as a caseload manager working alongside a named nursery nurse and collaborate with outside agencies where it is requested for the wellbeing of either mother or child. In this role, you will also provide assistance as part of The Mount's rapid response team and act as shift coordinator when on duty.
