Business Development Manager – Domiciliary Opticians (Based from Manchester office)
£35K PA basic + a generous commission, company vehicle, mobile laptop. Realistic OTE £50K PA.

Job Description
Following significant growth and investment into the business an exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and ambitious Business Development Manager to join our sales team. As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for the 360-sales cycle selling our services to the Care Home Sector across your area ensuring the business reaches its sales target. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, arranging your own meetings, presenting and closing opportunities. If you are seeking a “hands on” sales role, then this represents the perfect opportunity for you as you will be responsible for helping develop the companies presence within the Care Sector.
What the role requires:
* Focus on sourcing, engaging, and building a pipeline of appointments to win business from new clients.
* Arranging your own meetings and diary management
* Create brand awareness in the area, attending conferences and industry events
* Research potential customers and generate or follow through sales leads managing pipeline start to finish.
* Deliver sales presentations to prospective new clients.
* Onboarding Care Homes.
* Responsible for delivery of monthly Sales Report against KPIs.
* Ensuring maximum revenue opportunities are realised against all accounts.
* Prepares own reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information from prospect list.
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of client requirements.
* Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and competitor activities to enhance business development strategies.
* Provide regular reports on sales pipeline, forecasts, and sales performance against individual targets.
* Deliver the companies vision and mission
* Ensure you and the business are hitting volume and margin targets
* Undertake other duties as necessary to the role

* Proven track record in Sales
* Able to build rapport with people quickly on the phone and in person.
* Organised enough to manage an end-to-end sales cycle from cold call to close.
* Strategic and self-sufficient in opportunity identification
* Must be comfortable in a targeted, fast-paced environment with an expanding customer base and evolving solutions.
* Be naturally goal-orientated and competitive; a will to succeed and win.
* Experience of dealing with multiple opportunities at any one time.
* Deliver excellence on a consistent basis, be it with people - by phone, written and in person.
* Ability to influence, negotiate and close objections presented by new client.
