Primaire Consulting are partnered with a leading international valve manufacturer, supplying high-quality valves and steam-related products across various industries. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a technically minded and customer-focused Internal Sales Engineer to support their sales operations and ensure outstanding service to their customers. This is a key role within the sales office, providing technical and commercial support, handling sales enquiries, preparing quotations, and ensuring the smooth processing of customer orders. Key Responsibilities Manage incoming customer enquiries, providing technical and commercial support. Prepare quotations, working closely with suppliers and our parent company. Process and administer sales orders, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up. Assist in technical troubleshooting and offer solutions tailored to customer needs. Provide support to the external sales team and maintain strong customer relationships. Work closely with headquarters in Germany on technical and commercial matters. Ensure accurate data entry and management within ERP & CRM systems. Qualifications & Experience Engineering qualification or technical sales experience (preferred). Knowledge of valves, steam systems, and related applications (advantageous but not essential). Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to provide technical advice. Experience in internal sales, order processing, or customer service in a technical environment. Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone, with the ability to engage customers and understand their needs. Proficiency in IT systems, including ERP & CRM software, Microsoft Office, and general computer literacy. AutoCAD experience would be beneficial but is not essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team. Training & Development A comprehensive training programme covering products, applications, computer systems, and sales techniques will be provided to ensure your success in the role.
