Your Role: The Visionary Behind the “I Do”
As Senior Wedding Planner, you’ll play a leading role in designing and delivering our most iconic weddings—from initial concept to flawless execution. This position requires a balance of creative vision, strategic thinking, client relationship expertise, and calm, confident leadership.
You’ll work closely with high-net-worth clients, renowned creatives, and international partners to bring to life deeply personal, elegantly curated celebrations that reflect the Alice Wilkes ethos of artistry and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Experience & Event Strategy
1. Serve as the primary point of contact for UHNW clients, ensuring a seamless and personal planning experience.
2. Lead the full design and planning process for bespoke weddings across global destinations.
3. Translate visions into meaningful, luxurious experiences that feel both intentional and extraordinary.
4. Refine and enhance the client journey—from first consultation through post-event follow-up.
2. Creative Direction & Production Oversight
1. Develop creative concepts, design boards, and immersive storylines tailored to each couple.
2. Collaborate with top stylists, venues, florists, and artists to bring your vision to life.
3. Ensure each design detail and guest experience meets the highest standard of quality and elegance.
4. Manage timelines and workflows across multiple projects with precision and grace.
5. Support and collaborate with junior planners, freelancers, and event coordinators.
6. Embody and promote the Alice Wilkes standard of luxury, service, and innovation.
7. Build and nurture strong relationships with leading venues and premium suppliers.
8. Oversee budget management, timelines, and vendor communications.
9. Maintain and expand our exclusive global network of trusted partners.
3. Strategic Growth & Brand Contribution
1. Identify trends and opportunities that keep our weddings at the forefront of the luxury market.
2. Collaborate with our marketing and PR teams to showcase standout events and editorial work.
3. Represent the brand at select industry events, expos, and creative showcases.
What You Bring
1. 6+ years in luxury wedding planning or high-end event production.
2. Proven success delivering exceptional weddings with budgets of £350K+.
3. An impeccable eye for detail and love for refined, editorial aesthetics.
4. Calm, confident leadership and excellent organisational skills.
5. Strong client-facing and communication abilities.
6. Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends when needed.
7. Proficiency in CRM systems and industry-standard planning tools.
8. Discretion, diplomacy, and emotional intelligence.
Bonus Points
1. Fluency in multiple languages.
2. Experience planning destination weddings across the UK, Europe, and the US.
3. A background in fashion, luxury hospitality, or interior design.
