Shopify Developer (Full Stack) - Remote - £38,000 - £50,000 DOE
The role

Who and what we are looking for?
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and debugging responsive Shopify web and mobile e-commerce stores. Using JavaScript, HTML, CSS and React. You will be able to translate user and e-commerce business needs into functional frontend design.
You are a person who enjoys a challenge and can confidently work under pressure, leading on all development needs in the agency.
* Someone who can build responsive web projects from Figma on Shopify. (Webflow a bonus)
* You’ll develop sites with accessibility in mind, and test for cross browser compatibility
* Discussing a designer’s creative concepts and assessing how to make things a reality
* Document development processes
* Great working knowledge of the Shopify including Shopify plugins
* Can estimate time of tasks accurately and explain reasons for why clearly
* You have a portfolio of work that demonstrates your abilities.
* You work well independently, but also collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders/decision makers
* Ability to problem solve, creatively and technically.
* You have an eye for detail and love bringing sites to life with animation.
* You’re a good communicator with a friendly attitude.
* SEO and Accessibility knowledge very helpful as well as understanding the needs for continuous site performance and optimisation.
* Accurately translate user and business needs into functional frontend code
Qualifications Skills
* 3 years or more of hands-on experience with Shopify development.
* Strong experience with Shopify & Shopify Plus
* Strong understanding of Shopify API, CLI, JavaScript and Liquid templating language
* Build reusable code and libraries for future use
* You have skills in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and Git. Knowing some PHP and Tailwind CSS would be nice to have too.
* Experience with building in React frameworks
* Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
* Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices and industry trends.
* Experience with custom theme development and third-party integrations on the Shopify platform.
* Solid understanding of responsive design principles.
* Effective communication and collaboration skills.
