Business Development Manager at Four Seasons Campers Ltd

Hours: Full Time/ Part Time
Normal working hours will be between 7am-7pm. There will be a requirement on occasion for work out with normal working hours.
Salary: £13.50 per hour

Four Seasons Campers Ltd is a friendly, ambitious and growing campervan rental, sales and tour operator. Founded in 2015, the company has grown year on year to establish itself as Scotland’s leading luxury VW campervan company.

Key Responsibilities:
Marketing
* Assisting the Company Director with projects and marketing:
* Social Media Management and Content Creation
* Liaising with social media influencers for partnerships
* Social media promotion and marketing including coming up with offers and extra revenue ideas
* Off Seasons Sales
* Trade show organising and attendance
Rental Operations
* Assisting the Operations & Sales (O&S) Manager with:
* Day to day running of the company operations.
* Operational logistics at multiple locations
* Communicating with our customers via email, phone calls, social media and WhatsApp
* Coordinating reservations through our booking platform, including optimising rental utilisation
* Delivering a friendly and personal customer service, your role will include delivering campervan handovers: taking customers through use of the vehicle, dealing with all aspects of pick-up and drop-off of campervans and assisting customers with last minute route planning.
* Checking all campervans are immaculately cleaned inside and out and liaising with the valeting team to ensure high standards are kept.
* Ensuring maintenance checks have been carried out by prior and post hire and doing maintenance checks if short staffed and required
* Going the extra mile with customers by advising on route plans and ensuring they feel supported and confident driving the campervan in the UK
* Checking all campervans with the customer prior to departure for any bumps and scratches, and preparation and completion of paperwork with confirmation of drop off time and location
* Checking all campervans with the customer on return, noting bumps and scratches, mileage and any receipts due payable to customer from Security deposit.
* Travelling to our customers if they have any issues, to swap their vehicle
Covering as Duty manager at our Loch Lomond HQ when required (travel expensed)
* Leading the operations team and organising operational activities on a day-to-day basis
* Ordering of new inventory and equipment
* Assist with van cleaning/ staff schedules as required
* Daily HR procedures
* Updating manuals & procedures
* Staff training on all procedures
* Assisting Company Director and Operations and Sales Manager as required
Fleet Maintenance, Vehicle Sales & Insurance
* Assisting the Operations & Sales Manager with:
* Vehicle sales
* Prep vans for vehicle sale – Deep clean procedure and check for any damages or issues needing fixed
* Book and take vans in for service, body work and any other issues for repair
* Take video walk round of vans to share with customers interested in buying
* Take phone calls of potential buyers and book in viewings
* Carry out viewings and test drives
* At point of sale get in touch with insurance, finance etc to pay off and change ownership of van
* Marketing of vehicle sale
* Organise for delivery of vehicle to new owner
* Fleet Maintenance
* Maintenance required on fleet vehicles and company car(s) including servicing, post hire repairs and tyres (with maintenance team)
* Fleet insurance and road tax
Website Updates & Maintenance
* Assisting the Company Director with the development of company website including Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), tour routes and planning, content delivery and changes as well as general website fixing
* Development and general maintenance on booking system
On Call Assistance
* On call cover when required with any hours worked paid at increased rate
* Must have held a driving licence for at least 2 years and be over the age of 25yrs for insurance purposes
* Right to work in UK
* Good knowledge of social media
* Ability to work autonomously
* Have a smart, professional appearance
* Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
* Planning, organisation and flexibility
* Problem solving to ensure smooth delivery of services
* A second language eg French, German, Spanish, Italian
* Experience in the travel and hospitality industry
* An excellent knowledge of Scotland
* Previous Marketing Experience

As this role plays a key part of our operations, there will be a requirement to work most weekends throughout the Summer season with limited opportunity for annual leave during the Summer months. The first two weeks training for the role will be provided at our Loch Lomond HQ, with travel and/or accommodation expensed.
