Northallerton Vets4Pets is seeking an experienced vet to join their friendly, supportive team on a FTC paying up to £60k (FTE).
Job Details:
1. Salary up to £60k (FTE, DOE)
2. Part-time hours available to fit around your commitments, ideally 3 days per week
3. Fixed term contract starting in December for 10 months
4. Lovely client base in a beautiful part of North Yorkshire
About Us:
Our friendly, cheerful team provides a great work environment, where work-life balance is a priority. We are hugely supportive of one another and take pride in the strong relationships we have built with each other and our clients. Led by our partners Kirsty and Kelly, you will be joining a lovely team of 2 vets with over 25 years’ experience, 1 Head Nurse, 1 RVN, 1 Practice Manager (MHFA), 2 Animal Care Assistants, and 2 Client Care Advisors.
We are looking for a Vet to cover MAT leave starting in December for 10 months, ideally on a part-time basis (3 days per week) and Saturdays on a rota basis.
The team is enthusiastic and progressive, the clinic is clean and well-organized, and our clients are lovely. We manage our caseload effectively to ensure we have time to spend with clients without feeling rushed. We see a full range of cases and have visiting specialists to support those requiring further surgery/imaging. CPD is actively encouraged, and our JVPs are supportive of everything we do.
While our day-to-day includes a mix of surgeries and consultations, we are happy to discuss any bias you may have towards either. We want to accommodate your commitments, whether you need to work certain days, shorter or longer shifts, or a specific pattern. The role will include some sole charge, and we would like our new vet to be part of our weekend rota.
We are based on a busy main route in Northallerton with free onsite parking and just a 20-minute walk from the train station. Our practice is purpose-built with separate dog and cat wards. We work closely with our local RSPCA and Cats Protection League.
If this sounds like the role for you and you share our passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare and great customer service, please e-mail our partner and practice manager Kirsty at Kirsty.Challis@vets4pets.com.
We want our colleagues to be as diverse as our clients. Our teams are inclusive and celebrate difference, so if you meet our role requirements, we’d love to hear from you!
