We are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and reliable individual with experience and knowledge in Gynae cancer to join our team. The post holder will ensure that the patient has a supported journey by acting as their key worker and undertaking holistic needs assessments, at key points.
The Gynae Cancer Associate Clinical Nurse Specialist will give support and advice to individuals diagnosed with Gynae cancer providing holistic care and ensuring a seamless cancer journey and an excellent patient experience.
To work clinically, delivering and maintaining high standards of care and contributing to the multi-disciplinary team.
To support and contribute to the development and promotion of the nursing service ensuring the delivery of high quality, cost effective care.
Educate staff in understanding the care requirements of patients undergoing investigations and treatments and ensure that the physical and psychological needs of patients and their families are met.
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our well established Cancer Specialist Nursing Team. Bolton has a comprehensive service offering a range of investigations and treatments for patients diagnosed with cancer.
You will work very closely with the Gynae Cancer Clinical Lead and other members of the team within the dermatology department.
The post holder will ensure that the patient has a supported journey by acting as their key worker and ensuring patients move through the cancer pathway in a timely manner.
The post holder will hold well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, and should also possess good facilitation and IT skills. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team, having excellent clinical skills to deliver exceptional standards of care for all patients and their families.
