Job Purpose: Leading, delivering and evaluating universal public health programmes for school-aged children and young people (5 - 19 years) within school and community settings including the planning coordination of the school age immunisation programme.
Supporting education colleagues in their role as the Named Person in contributing to the development of the Child Plan through comprehensive assessment using the national practice model.
This post is suitable for a qualified SCPHN - School Nurse, or a qualified nurse on the NMC register with relevant experience to undertake further training.
Band 5 for Trainee School Nurse, rising to Band 6 on completion of training period (if not already qualified)
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the relevant grade scale., This post requires post holder to hold SCPHN qualification
