Job Title: SEN Tutor Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Develop individualised lesson plans based on students' needs and abilities Assist students in improving their academic performance in various subjects Implement strategies to support students with SEN in their learning process Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the students' education Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Knowledge of SEN policies and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of different learning styles and abilities Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Strong problem-solving skills Organisational skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs Experience using assistive technology in education Working Conditions: The SEN Tutor role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The tutor will primarily work with students in educational settings, such as schools or learning centres, in Oxfordshire. The role may require travel to different locations to provide tutoring services. The tutor will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students with SEN in achieving their academic goals.
