Join our Operations team as a Maintenance Engineering Manager at our Haverhill manufacturing site to play a crucial role in ensuring that our facility operates smoothly and complies with GMP.
The Maintenance Engineering Manager is essential for maintaining the reliability and efficiency of the Haverhill manufacturing operations, ensuring that all equipment and facilities meet the stringent standards required for producing high-quality products.
Your Responsibilities
You will:
* Manage maintenance planning and coordination
* Oversee preventative maintenance shutdowns
* Supervise calibration activities
* Manage spare parts and inventory
* Comply with cGMP documentation requirements
* Write and manage change controls, maintenance work orders, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
* Manage and develop maintenance technicians (both electrical and mechanical).
* Conduct performance reviews, goal setting, and training for staff.
* Drive continuous improvement in maintenance practices.
* Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to enhance product quality and equipment reliability.
* Lead cross-functional teams for maintenance repairs and upgrade projects.
* Act as the technical project manager for various maintenance initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., MHRA, FDA).
* Participate in audits and implement quality systems within the maintenance function.
* Provide technical support to manufacturing and facility operations.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Our Requirements
* Relevant qualification in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering (Degree desirable)
* Strong knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements.
* Proven experience in maintenance management systems (e.g., CMMS).
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Ability to drive continuous improvement and manage projects effectively.
* Strong technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and utility systems.
