Empowering Learning is looking to appoint an English Teacher to work within a high-performing Secondary School.
Knowledge of the GCSE English Curriculum is essential, as well as knowledge of GCSE Exams.
Daily Tasks will include:
1. Teaching & Delivering the English GCSE Curriculum
2. Sole focus on delivering high-quality English lessons each day
3. Elements of teaching practical Drama sessions
4. Engaging in school offsite visits
5. Building relationships with staff, students & parents
Credentials we are looking for:
1. Previous experience working within an English Secondary School Department
2. Track record of taking up a leadership role within a School
3. A person who is passionate, enthusiastic, and willing to go the extra mile to help and support children reach their maximum potential in every subject
4. Experience working with children who have learning difficulties - SEN
5. Ability to work well as part of a close-knit team as well as think on your feet independently
