The Role This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and strategic Senior Demand Planner to take ownership of demand forecasting, inventory optimisation, and product availability. You will lead a team of three Demand Planners and play a key role in driving efficiency and commercial success. Key responsibilities include: - Team Leadership - Manage, mentor, and develop a team of three Demand Planners. - Demand Forecasting - Analyse sales data and trends to maintain optimal inventory levels. - Inventory & Supply Planning - Ensure timely placement of purchase orders and maintain product availability. - Stakeholder Collaboration - Work closely with sales, procurement, and commercial teams to align forecasts with business goals. - New Product Launches - Provide planning insights to support product introductions. - Supply Chain Disruption Management - Identify and resolve fluctuations or delays in the supply chain. Skills & Experience Required - Proven experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations, ideally within wholesale distribution or E-Commerce. - Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making. - Experience in supplier and manufacturer relationship management. - Proficient in Excel and forecasting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems). - A strong communicator and collaborator, comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels.
