We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to work for a highly regarded Cambridge Accountancy practice. The organisation are well-known within the local area and continue to go from strength to strength year on year, due to their fantastic culture and values. Within this role you will report into one of the Directors. The successful candidate will ideally be part or fully AAT qualified or possess relevant equivalent experience. Responsibilities Of The Role Include Communicating and liaising with clients on their accounting and reporting requirements Assisting with the timely completion of all aspects of accounts preparation and management reporting for clients Assisting with general bookkeeping including AP/AR through to journals Additional duties as instructed by the Assistant Management Accountants and Partners. The successful candidate will be someone who is process-driven, articulate, analytical and agile. Time management and the ability to prioritise your workload are paramount to being successful in a role of this calibre. Familiarity with Xero, QuickBooks and a good knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, V Look-ups etc) would be desirable.
