We are looking for an experienced National Business Development Manager to join the team of our client whose head offices are in the Poole area. The successful candidate will be field based 4 out of 5 days per week, and 1 day in the Poole office, working alongside the internal support teams. Previous experience of working in a National Sales position is essential, as you will need to be used to vast amounts travel across the UK. Previous experience of working in a Product Distribution / manufacturing environment would be preferable, but strong national sales and transferable skills from a different industry sector, will be considered as well. The successful candidate will be proactive, self-motivated, and passionate about customer acquisition and developing long standing relationships. Strong Commercial acumen is essential for this position, as you will be meeting with senior stakeholders and decision makers, understanding their pain points and requirements, in order to offer the right support, products and services to them.
