About the Role
Fleet:
* Ensure compliance with all statutory and company fleet requirements, including COF, WOF, and vehicle safety standards.
* Conduct monthly fleet inspections, addressing non-conformances identified in vehicle check-sheets.
* Maintain an up-to-date fleet database, including vehicle details, fuel card assignments, and utilisation records.
* Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and servicing of fleet vehicles, ensuring minimal downtime.
* Organise vehicle deliveries, returns, and handovers, ensuring compliance with internal processes.
* Manage fuel card purchases and replacements, ensuring proper tracking and reporting.
* Ensure compliance with all statutory and operational requirements, including regular testing, calibration, and certification.
* Control the booking system for plant and equipment, managing check-ins and check-outs effectively.
* Maintain a detailed database of all plant and equipment, including location, utilisation, and maintenance records.
* Coordinate maintenance, repairs, testing, calibration, and deliveries of plant and equipment to job sites.
* Manage storage facilities, ensuring proper organisation and adherence to quarantine requirements for non-compliant or damaged equipment.
* Support Business Units (BUs) with all their fleet-related requirements, ensuring efficient and compliant operations.
Equipment Responsibilities:
* Coordinate the procurement, allocation, and maintenance of specialised tools and equipment used across the business.
* Ensure compliance with relevant safety and operational regulations for all equipment.
* Maintain an inventory management system, tracking usage, service intervals, and repair histories.
* Collaborate with departments to understand equipment requirements and support project execution.
* Identify opportunities to optimise equipment usage, including recommending replacements or upgrades.
* Support Business Units (BUs) with all their plant and equipment needs, facilitating timely and safe operations.
Warehouse & Yard:
* Coordinate deliveries of materials, tools, and equipment to and from the warehouse and yard, ensuring timely dispatch.
* Manage storage facilities, including the quarantine area for non-compliant or damaged items.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse and yard, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
* Support Business Units (BUs) with their warehousing and storage requirements, ensuring operational effectiveness.
Health & Safety:
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards across all fleet, plant, equipment, and warehouse operations.
* Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
* Promote the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe practices in all areas of responsibility.
* Investigate and report incidents, non-conformances, and near misses promptly, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
