As part of our Loss Prevention Team, we are looking for a dedicated Loss Prevention Partner to support the management of loss across our business. This pivotal role will help drive operational compliance, reduce shrinkage, and enhance the overall MECCA experience by partnering with external bodies, conducting investigations, and coaching retail teams on best practices.
The Role You Could Play:
* Monitor operational procedures, including cash handling, stock loss, transaction processing, and asset security across stores.
* Conduct regular store visits and audits, including regular travel interstate and to NZ, providing education and coaching to retail teams on loss prevention and operational risks.
* Investigate internal and external theft or fraudulent behavior, compiling evidence and working with relevant teams and authorities to resolve issues.
* Work with MECCAversity to create and deliver training programs for retail teams.
* Develop and track performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of loss prevention initiatives.
* Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in loss prevention.
What You Will Bring:
* Previous experience in Loss Prevention, Profit Protection, or Operational Lead role.
* Proven ability to drive initiatives and engage teams across multiple sites and regions.
* Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of retail KPIs and performance metrics.
* Excellent understanding of retail policies, procedures, and best practices.
* Knowledge of internal investigation processes and how to handle theft and fraud incidents.
* Highly desired: experience working with external legal authorities to resolve theft or fraud issues.
