The Opportunity:
Applications are invited for a Research Coordinator to join the NRS Mental Health Network team in Edinburgh. The NRS Mental Health Network is funded by the Chief Scientist Office to support high quality mental health research in Scotland.
This post is part-time (21 hours per week) and the post holder will be expected to coordinate the portfolio of commercial and non-commercial mental health studies, currently supported by the Network in NHS Lothian. In addition, the post holder will be expected to oversee the workload of Network funded staff.
The Network has recently relocated and is now based within the Chancellor’s Building on the BioQuarter Campus at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh; however, there will be a requirement to work across the NHS Lothian area.
This is a fixed-term post until September 2025, with the possibility of extension.
Your skills and attributes for success:
* Educated to degree level with a post-graduate qualification in a relevant subject.
* Previous experience working in clinical research and study coordination.
* Knowledge and understanding of clinical trial regulations and be trained in Good Clinical Practice.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work under own initiative and prioritise workload.
