About the Role An exciting role to contribute towards the development of the Green Skills offer within the Construction Department at The Sheffield College. This lecturing role will involve the delivery of the Level 2 Understanding Domestic Retrofit and Level 3 Domestic Retrofit Advice. There is also the potential to deliver further retrofit and energy efficiency qualifications depending on experience. The role sits within the Construction department at The Sheffield College, which is leading in the green construction skills development across South Yorkshire. Prior teaching experience is desirable, but a formal teaching qualification is not essential. There will be regular support offered to the successful candidate through collaboration with our Quality Team and Learning Development Coaches. This department fosters strong team cohesion and collaborative working practices. Key Responsibilities Develop course materials for the qualifications highlighted for delivery across The Sheffield College campuses. Deliver engaging face to face sessions that meet student and employer needs in line with awarding body and industry requirements. Maintain up to date records of teaching practices in line with internal policies as well as attendance data and student progress information. Collaborate with external stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and positive representation of the department and the College. Showcase enthusiasm and dedication towards Green Skills development.
