The Construction Department oversees all wind farm projects from start to finish. The team takes responsibility for a wind farm once a contract is signed and remains accountable until the final tests are completed. Collaborating closely with logistics, procurement, and finance departments, the team ensures projects stay on budget and on schedule while meeting our safety and quality standards. Additionally, the team works with sales and legal departments to ensure each wind farm delivers the highest energy yield according to the client's specifications.
Responsibilities
* Manage the commercial and contractual aspects during the construction phase of new wind farms.
* Review, present, and advise internal stakeholders on obligations and deliverables under Turbine Supply Agreements.
* Ensure adherence to internal processes and procedures for creating and storing correspondence and records.
* Contribute to risk management (ONS).
* Evaluate potential claim scenarios and provide recommendations to internal stakeholders and management.
* Handle claims management activities and draft formal claims-related correspondence.
* Attend internal and external meetings as necessary.
* Record and communicate contractual lessons learned to promote improvements in contracts.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in law, quantity surveying, industrial and civil construction, or a related field.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in contracts or project management within the UK construction industry.
* Extensive knowledge of contract types and structures in the construction and energy sectors.
* Best if experienced in implementing power plant projects (FIDIC or EPCI experience is beneficial).
* Fluent in written and spoken English.
* Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
* Solid background working with contractors or engineers on construction projects.
* Solid methodical skills.
* Awareness of cost and safety considerations.
* Experience in UK construction projects.
* Independent and structured work approach.
* Intercultural awareness and team-oriented mindset.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills with customers and staff at all levels.
* Problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.

Primary work location: Arnhem, Edinburgh or Warrington. This position requires up to 60 days travel per year.
