SITE CLEANER
DIVISION: Building South
LOCATION: Ballycastle
CONTRACT: Part Time (Min. 12 hours) Fixed Term Contract (12 months)
We are seeking an experienced Cleaner, who will deliver high standards on our busy construction site, ensuring site offices and welfare units are clean, neat, and tidy.
You will be self-motivated and will have the ability to work with minimal supervision, using your own initiative. Knowledge of health and safety requirements and previous practical experience in a cleaning role are essential.
This is initially a 12-month Fixed term contract, with the potential to extend. Flexible part-time hours are available – Minimum 12 hours per week, increasing as construction work progresses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain cleanliness of site offices and welfare units by vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.
* Dust and wipe down surfaces regularly.
* Ensure litter and waste is disposed of correctly.
* Clean all sanitary facilities.
* Restock supplies such as toilet rolls, soap, and hand towels.
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines.
* Report any maintenance or repair issues.
This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for the site Cleaner and the range of duties to be undertaken.
It does not attempt to detail every activity. Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder at regular intervals.
Person Specification
Essential
* Previous experience in a similar Cleaning role.
* Understanding of health and safety requirements relating to cleaning appliances and products.
* Ability to work alone and manage time effectively.
Desirable
* Knowledge of a construction environment.
