Director of Sales Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Sales to join our team at InterContinental London - The O2. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue maximization across our hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth and exceed hotel budgets and client market share targets.
2. Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and coaching to ensure excellent sales performance and customer experience.
3. Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and monitor annual sales business plans, ensuring alignment with hotel and brand objectives.
4. Design and deliver training programs for sales and events personnel, focusing on skills training and people development.
5. Establish and maintain strong relationships with hotel departments, brand partners, external clients, and suppliers.
Requirements:
1. Proven track record of sales and events management in a hotel environment or similar hospitality industry.
2. At least 3 years of experience in a sales and events senior leadership role.
3. Experience working with major global hotel brands is highly desirable.
4. Strong commercial approach and ability to identify sales and revenue maximization opportunities.
