Registered Mental Nurse (RMN)
Role Summary:
An RMN is a qualified nurse who specializes in providing mental health care to individuals with a range of mental health conditions. They work in various settings, including hospitals, community mental health services, and private practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assessing and diagnosing mental health conditions
* Developing and implementing individualized care plans for patients with mental health needs
* Administering medication and monitoring patient response
* Providing therapy and counseling to patients
* Supporting patients in managing their mental health conditions
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers
* Ensuring compliance with relevant mental health legislation and guidelines
Required Qualifications:
* Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) qualification with active NMC registration
* Strong understanding of mental health theory and practice
* Experience in providing therapeutic interventions
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with varying levels of mental health needs
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 48 per week
