You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners to help businesses effectively.
You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for a range of administrative duties within the Business Services and Outsourcing team (BSO). Activities are likely to be varied.
* Undertake a range of administrative tasks connected with supporting the data systems within BSO, supporting others in the team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department or team.
* Support the data management systems, primarily driven on the Dynamics 365 CRM platform. Training will be provided but the individual will need to demonstrate their attention to detail, willingness to engage with others around training and the adoption of the systems, ability to work through issues and work with others in the team to drive the configuration of new functionality, and ability to prepare training content for others in Business Services and Outsourcing (BSO).
The main roles include:
* First point of contact for teams to understand how to use the system and resolve minor issues.
* Training and support to drive adoption across teams in the UK.
* User and product testing, to ensure releases function properly and don't create undesired outcomes.
* Preparation of video and training content for use by teams.
* Basic configuration of the system (acting under the supervision of others in the team).
* Administrative matters such as user set up, data cleanses and preparation of dashboards and business reports.
* The work can be primarily delivered remotely, although willingness to visit teams in the UK to understand their needs is also required from time to time.
Requirements
* Provide an exceptional client experience and support client initiatives within the firm, as well as being responsive and helping to create a positive impression at all touch points.
* Good knowledge of all Microsoft packages since the main system is Microsoft Dynamics 365.
* Accurate keyboard skills.
* Previous experience of office / administration services.
* Adept at managing multiple tasks whilst keeping track of own workload using a ‘to do list or similar. Will deal with competing requests in a confident and mature manner, weighing up urgency and deadlines to decide on priorities. Will use the wider team to get work done as necessary. Advises managers when they can expect their work if unable to process promptly.
* When faced with a new challenge will use initiative to work out the best way to do it, referring to Insite and colleagues to identify efficient solutions.
* Has a flexible approach and is adaptable. Is a team player willing to make a contribution to the wider team. Advises colleagues when has spare capacity to help and or is in need of support. Mutually supportive of others and willing to help in different departments as required.
* Is receptive to new ideas and remains focused during times of change and promotes change amongst team by own behaviour.
* Presents a professional appearance and attitude at all times, as may be required to meet and greet clients.
* Discreet when handling confidential information.
* Confident with communication. Recognises that different people require different approaches and adjusts style appropriately.
