The Speciality Operational Manager role is a full time position, reporting to the General Manager.
This position will be responsible for the day to day delivery of services to patients in accordance with agreed objectives, meeting access targets, quality standards, controls and delivering within resource constraints.
The role will include responsibility for management of administration staff within agreed area, and for the development and management of a range of service improvement projects.
Delivery of national access targets and delivery of specialty performance, with the implementation of remedial/recovery actions as required working with support of the General Manager.
Strategy and Service Improvement
Financial Management and assuring efficient and effective use of trust resources.
Line Management for 2.00fte; the Specialty Administrator and Ophthalmology Failsafe Officer.
