Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a lovely primary school in Lytham St Annes. We are recruiting for an experienced teaching assistant to join this school on a part-time basis after the Easter holidays. You would be primarily involved with the EYFS department of this fantastic school. This role does have the potential to turn into a full-time position for the right TA.
* Responsibilities of the role:
Small Group Instruction: Conducting small group phonics instruction sessions with students who may need additional support or enrichment in phonics skills.
* Assisting in the preparation of instructional materials, such as phonics games, flashcards, worksheets, and other resources to support phonics instruction in the classroom.
* Assisting with phonics assessments, including administering, scoring, and recording student performance data to help track progress and identify areas for intervention.
* Collaborating with teachers to implement differentiated instruction strategies to meet the diverse needs of students in phonics learning.
This primary school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within their EYFS department, mainly within Nursery. The successful candidate must have excellent behaviour management and a good knowledge of the EYFS National Curriculum. You must be a committed practitioner who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role.
Requirements for the role:
- Experience teaching/ supporting with phonics
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- Experience working across EYFS or KS1

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
